My thoughts on America's uncomfortable response to Racism.

As my first post, i felt i should kick off this blog with something serious, and then it hit me, why don't i talk about something that's been bothering me for quite a while and that is the "I feel uncomfortable talking about this subject" or the "Racism is dead" response white people tend to use whenever the subject of racism opportunisticly ("Not a real word") rears its head. It baffles me that white people have never actually taken responsibility for what they caused, bear with me and look at this.

White people came from some off-shore land for spices and whatnot because Arabs were blocking them and decided to leave with a couple hundred slaves to work on their farms, they then see that black people are very good at farm work, then they come back and this time leave with a couple thousand slaves, they do the same thing at regular intervals for about two(2) and a half centuries, roughly from the early 16th century to the late 18th century, after a long time of mistreating, whipping, killing and dehumanizing these off colored people from that foreign land, a few of these white men's brains start kicking "We cant treat these individuals like this...It's wrong", note after roughly three and a half centuries of slavery a single thread of humanity is found growing in a very few people of the white race, funny thing is that Britain along with the Portuguese started this mess, they were the ones that started this spree of inhumanity so in no way do i think that they should be let off the hook but unfortunately still it was America(The West Indies) that took it too far, cutting off feat, raping slaves, hunting down slaves with dogs, hunting slaves as sport, dehumanizing labour conditions for 246 good long years, but still white people try to hide and cover up the fact that this happened and is still happening, recent forms of racism can be seen in segregation, racial stereotypes, various acts of police brutality, and not so occasionally linchings, my advice to white people is that you not just feel uncomfortable, you feel sad and curb your actions, and sure a lot of you might say it wasn't my generation that did that, sure it wasn't but its still occurring in your generation right now, black men and women are unfairly imprisoned, can barely collect a loan and find it hard to make it up the ladder of life due to segregation and racism, so much so that most black people have eaten deep into what life has fed them everyday and now believe that they are below the white man, and please i am not blaming the degradation of the black community all on the whites, black people also have their part to play in begin treated like scum, what i want to get across is that white people take responsibility for your actions from the Americans, to the Britain's, to the Portuguese. You took millions of Africans from their homes and dropped them in foreign locations, treated them like animals and then one day let them all go but never saw or treated them like equals, of course their lives will be a mess, it's not like the white race stopped there, they went on to colonize about 97% of Africa (their home land) draining it of any form of resources or commodities it had, and treating its Indigenes like they were less than human, not only putting many countries in civil unrest but slinging a few into huge debt and now you grip tighter than ever on their economy under the guise of anti-Imperialism, so its not like they'd have it better if you shipped them all back home, frankly a lot of them wouldn't survive here.

after thinking about all these things i thought to myself ok, what do you want, what would suffice, what could rectify the wrong done to an entire race, and i thought nothing can except white people were shipped off to a foreign continent and made slaves for 246 years we would never be solid but the only thing that would do is bring about more bad blood and enmity between races and i believe no one wants that, so i then thought what could they do, so what i came up with was for the governments of Britain, America and Portugal to issue a public apology to the Africans whose lives they've toyed with, i believe it's time they stop shying away from their atrocities and take responsibility for them, it's time for you to grow up and hold yourselves accountable, make an clear cut effort to stop and banish segregation, and frankly make racially based acts of police brutality punishable by death, they've gotten of the hook to many goddamed times, to the black people please make an effort to improve yourselves just because they want to hold you down doesn't mean you should let them, take control of your lives.

Racism is not dead it only breathes quietly.
